For centuries, painters have turned moments into beautiful, meaningful art. When I pick up my brush on your wedding day, my intention is to capture the kind of love a photograph can’t. I want you to remember how you felt that day when you see your painting hung up on the wall, wherever that may be.

I think of the future generations this painting will be passed on to. It’s more than just a painting.

So, how does this actually work?

PRE-WEDDING

The first step is to check if your date is available! Once we determine that, we’ll chat a bit, sign a contract and submit the deposit to hold your date.

6 weeks before your wedding, we will be back in touch to go over your vision!

WEDDING DAY

I typically arrive onsite 2-3 hours before the ceremony begins. I start painting the background of your chosen scene, snaps photos of your chosen pose, and paint you in during the remainder of your day!

I am typically painting onsite around 7-9 hours

AFTER THE WEDDING

As the reception winds down, I’ll pack up my supplies and take the painting home to finish in studio. This let’s me add all the finishing details, as sometimes one day just isn’t enough!

Your finished painting will be mailed to you within 12 weeks after your big day, fully varnished and ready to hang!

Absolutely! I travel anywhere you need me and depending on location, there will be a travel fee. Reach out and we can work out all the details!
Of course! Keep an eye out for when I open commissions, which is a couple times a year! If you have a specific deadline, reach to us and we can might can fit you in our busy schedule.

This is doable by sending 3-5 pictures of your person, and I can add them in day of or later on during studio hours.
Most clients of WLA make a 40% deposit. If needed, we can work out a payment plan that works for you!
